I am the lead physician for neurology at Medipark Swiss.

I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves) and of muscle diseases.

Electroencephalography

Using surface electrodes placed on the head with a cap, the electrical activity of the brain is recorded and evaluated.

Auditory evoked potentials

By means of acoustic stimuli via headphones and recording of the response over the auditory cortex, the auditory nerve and its pathways can be recorded and evaluated.

Somatosensory evoked potentials

By electrically stimulating the nerves leading to the sensory brain area, for example on the hands and feet, and recording over the spinal cord and the sensory brain area, the sensory pathways from the hands and feet via the spinal cord to the sensory brain area can be recorded and evaluated.

Motor evoked potentials

By electromagnetic stimulation of the motor brain areas for the hands and feet and of the nerve roots in the back, the motor pathways from the cerebrum via the spinal cord to the hands and feet can be recorded and evaluated.

Visual evoked potentials

By means of optical stimuli to the retina and recording of the response over the visual cortex, the optic nerve and its pathways can be recorded and evaluated.

Electromyography

Using a needle electrode, muscle activity can be displayed and evaluated.

Electroneurography

After electrical stimulation of the relevant nerves and recording of the nerve response with surface electrodes, the activity of the nerves can be measured and evaluated.
