A woman’s ovaries not only contain the egg cells for reproduction but also produce the female sex hormones until menopause. Changes in the ovaries are usually visible on ultrasound and can be either benign or malignant. Pain in the lower abdomen is not necessarily present when an ovary changes. To assess and evaluate your ovaries, we perform an ultrasound scan, advise you on any existing ovarian findings or offer you a second opinion.
